The Chairman of Oto Awori LCDA, Lagos, Prince Musibau Adekunle, has promised to continue to support the Community Development Associations (CDAs) in the LCDA.
Speaking at the inauguration of the new executive of Community Development Committees (CDCs) and Community Development Associations (CDAs) held at the Council Secretariat, Ijanikin, he disclosed that about two years ago, his administration gave grants to about five Community Development Associations and promised to repeat it this year.
“In addition, 10 transformers will be provided to the communities,” Adekunle promised.
According to the LCDA boss, some projects that would soon to be commissioned, include: electrification project at Idoluwo Ile; construction of a block of 6 class rooms at Ajewamiwa Primary School, Era Primary School, Ilemba Awori Town Hall; Aiyetoro Road project, Sule Alaso Road project; provision of 10 boreholes, culvert at Oke Agbo Road; a bridge at Abapasa/Idooluwo Ile, among others.

The Chairman of CDC, Mr. Mendes Bodurin, expressed his appreciation to the administration for the grants and infrastructure.
The executive members of the CDC and CDAs were presented with their certificates.
A representative of the Community Development Department from the Ministry of Local Government and Community Affairs, Dan Albert, was in attendance.
